Welcome to Learning and Cognition (PSYC 412), on line! This class deals with a specific area of psychology, Learning and Cognition, and will address theories and research related to topics such as Why do we learn? How do we learn? What effects learning? as well as cognitive questions such as Why do we have language? Why don't other animals have language (or do they)? The student should, upon course completion, be able to explain various theories of Learning and Cognition and be able to discuss current topics in this area.
